Motel a Miio opens pop-up store in Basel
Ceramic label Motel a Miio rents a retail space of just over 1,000 square meters on Freie Strasse in Basel to operate a pop-up store.
Motel a Miio will operate the store at Freie Strasse 51 until the end of the year, SPGI Zurich announced. From 2023, the three-story retail space totaling 1,019 sqm will be leased to a Swiss company on a long-term basis.
SPGI Zurich had been commissioned by the owner of the property, Kost Sport AG, to find a new tenant for the prestigious retail space on Basel's shopping mile. The brokerage house was already able to win Motel a Miio over a year ago for a space at Schifflände 51 in Zurich. The company, which specializes in high-quality ceramic goods, opened its first Swiss location there. (ah)
