Bosch, a manufacturer of household appliances, is planning a 290-square-meter showroom at Paradeplatz in Zurich. This is what the "Handelszeitung" has found out. In the noble location, where mainly luxury stores and major banks reside, washing machines and dishwashers are to be presented from the 3rd quarter. The future Bosch address at Paradeplatz 4 was previously home to the exclusive textile supplier Hackett.

Bosch wants to use the expensive downtown store to invest in its brand and reach consumers directly. Parent company BSH Hausgeräte, which also includes the Siemens and Gaggenau brands, among others, has annual global sales of 15.6 billion euros and boasts market leadership in Europe.
