With the future connection to the Limmattalbahn, Shoppi Tivoli is expanding its range of restaurants. On June 1, five new fast-food restaurants opened in one fell swoop in Switzerland's largest shopping center: Brezelkönig, Burger King, Kebap Werk as well as Popeyes and Subway. The restaurants are located at the Tivoli Mall, near the future access to the Limmattalbahn, and will still be accessible after closing time. Additional gastronomic offerings are scheduled to open in the fall, and the connection to the Limmattalbahn will be made in December.

Shoppi Tivoli was the first shopping center in Switzerland when it opened in 1970. It has a total area of over 150,000 sqm and a sales area of about 78,000 sqm. Around six million visitors a year are counted; sales in 2019 were CHF 406 million. (ah)
