Health food store chain Müller closes down
The food retailer Reformhaus Müller ceased operations on January 3. The bankruptcy affects 37 locations and 298 employees.
This was announced by the company, which was founded 100 years ago, in a statement. To justify the food retailer points to declining sales since 2016. A repositioning in the fall of 2019 remained unsuccessful in the end. After the comparatively successful first pandemic year of 2020, sales had again plummeted in the spring of 2021.
