The properties are owned equally by the Thai Central Group and the insolvent Signa.

The properties of the Globus department store chain are apparently up for sale. This is reported by the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) and refers to documents from the insolvency proceedings.

According to the NZZ, the administrator's report shows that the department store properties in Basel, Bern and Zurich are to be sold in order to raise money for the creditors. The department store group is the tenant in the other Globus branches.

However, the Signa Group only owns half of the properties; the Central Group from Thailand holds the other 50%. The latter had confirmed at the end of 2023 that it wanted to remain involved with Globus, but now, according to the NZZ, it has agreed to Signa selling its stake. (ah)
