Ex-Swissport boss takes the helm at Bilfinger
In its meeting on Tuesday, the Bilfinger Supervisory Board resolved to reduce the Executive Board from five to three members. This will lead in the short term to an amicable separation of Pieter Koolen, previously responsible for the Industrial segment, and Joachim Enenkel, previously responsible for the Power segment. Koolen is to remain available to the company for a few months in an advisory capacity, it is said.

The divisions of the Industrial and Power business areas will in future be managed directly by the new CEO Per H. Utnegaard, the former head of Swissport. Dr. Jochen Keysberg continues to bear responsibility for the Building and Facility business segment. The Management Board had also initiated a detailed strategic review of all business units as part of the realignment, the results of which are expected to be available in the fall.
At the same time, Bilfinger confirmed its expectations for the first half of 2015 and expects adjusted Ebita from continuing operations in the mid double-digit million euro range. The half-year figures are to be published on August 12. (mr)
