Swiss investor submits building application in Baden-Baden
The Swiss owner company headed by Managing Director Martin Buchli has submitted the building application for partial new construction and conversion of the Europäischer Hof to the city of Baden-Baden. It had acquired the property in neighboring Baden-Württemberg at the end of 2014 and now wants to invest 57 million euros. The hotel is to continue to be operated by the Steigenberger Hotel Group in the future.
The hotel is scheduled to reopen in 2017, when it will offer 123 rooms as well as suites of grand hotel standard, plus spa, wellness and meeting areas. Designer Matteo Thun will be involved in the project as interior designer. Investor and attorney Buchli has appointed for the project in Germany Europäischer Hof Kaiserallee Immobilien 1+2 GmbH & Co. KG, based in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate. (mr)
