SF Sustainable Property Fund expands portfolio
The SF Sustainable Property Fund strongly expanded its portfolio in the first half of the year. A large part of the funds from the capital increase of CHF 81.5 million was invested and the total value of the portfolio increased by 37.7 percent to CHF 277.7 million as of June 30, 2015 (Dec. 31, 2014: CHF 201.7 million), the company says.
In the first half of 2015, the fund acquired six properties with an investment volume of CHF 68.6 million. In addition, the new construction project in Pfäffikon (ZH) was completed, the "Batica 137" project in Winterthur was continued and the renovation of the Dornacherstr. 38 property in Basel was started. As of the reporting date, the portfolio thus comprised 25 properties, 24 existing properties and one development property.
Net fund assets as of June 30, 2015 amounted to CHF 280.1 million (Dec. 31, 2014: 196.7 million).
The investment return for the first half of 2015 was 2.32 percent, compared with 1.9 percent in the prior-year period. The leverage ratio was 6.52 percent and the fund operating expense ratio (TER GAV) was 0.73 percent. (ah)
