CSA plans hotel on Rexmax site in Thun

The listed building at Gewerbestrasse 4 in Thun is part of the portfolio of the Credit Suisse Investment Foundation (CSA), which has published a planning application to convert the freight forwarding building into a "public hospitality business", reports the "Thuner Tagblatt". The investment volume is said to be in the single-digit million franc range.

According to the plans, a restaurant is planned for the first floor and a "private dining room" with a wine cellar and kitchen in the basement. The restaurant will have 90 seats and a terrace with 80 seats.

On the upper floors, 15 rooms with 30 beds are planned as a three-star superior hotel. As operators of the hotel, Daniel Mani will be assisted by the experienced hoteliers Manfred and Günter Weilguni, who already run the three-star boutique hotel Alpine Lodge in Gstaad-Saanen and the three-star Hotel Landhaus in Saanen.
