DAI commissions Deutsche Asset One with portfolio management
The DAI Real Estate Investment Foundation has mandated Deutsche Asset One GmbH. The business areas of the newly founded company are owner representation and the development and management of residential real estate portfolios.

Deutsche Asset One emerged from Dupuis GmbH & Co. Asset-Management KG, based in Berlin, which has been active in the investment and asset management of residential real estate for more than ten years. Dupuis founded Deutsche Asset One GmbH as a "platform for residential real estate in Germany, which bundles all areas of expertise in owner representation of residential real estate for institutional clients and family offices", and Thilo von Stechow (48) joined the group of shareholders and the management. The other founding managing partners are Frank Dupuis, Oliver Lenhardt and Felix Gold.
Von Stechow (MRICS) has worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years, including as a division manager and authorized signatory at GSW Immobilien. Most recently, he was Managing Director at Gagfah Property Management GmbH, where he was responsible for the reorganization and realignment of the nationwide property management organization.
The establishment of Deutsche Asset One is accompanied by the mandate from the DAI investment foundation for the DAWID residential real estate investment group in Germany. The initial issue for this investment group, which is aimed at Swiss pension funds, is underway with a maximum subscription volume of CHF 250 million. DAWID is the first investment vehicle of a Swiss investment foundation to invest exclusively in German residential real estate. There have recently been a number of changes to the DAI Board of Trustees. (ah)
