Grindelwald: Tudortree plans 140-bed hotel
Tudortree Properties is planning a new building and expansion of the half-demolished Hotel Fiescherblick in Grindelwald. Tudortree bought the ruined building at auction last year for just under five million CHF.

How the Bernese newspaper According to the building plan, a hotel with 141 guest beds and a restaurant with 100 seats inside and 50 seats on the terrace are to be built. The construction publication and the amendments to the zoning ordinance are available. It is not known how high the investment volume is.
Meanwhile, Grindelwald is still looking for an investor for the Grand Hotel Regina. Since the building permit for the five planned chalets would expire in December and cannot be extended, the Grand Hotel Regina-Grindelwald AG is now starting with the demolition work.
The former five-star hotel near the train station is to be expanded for CHF 130 million and supplemented by five chalets with apartments. According to Grand Hotel Regina-Grindelwald AG, negotiations with hotel operators and investors have been going on for some time, but a conclusion of the negotiations is not expected this year. (ah)
