Fundamenta Real Estate AG used the equity raised in the fall of 2015 to make several acquisitions and further diversify its portfolio.
The capital increase in October 2015 generated net proceeds of CHF 36.8 million, and Fundamenta acquired real estate with a total value of over CHF 73 million.
With two new construction projects in Winterthur and Hinwil (Mosaik project) as well as the acquisition of a property in the city of Zurich, the largest addition was made in the economically strong greater Zurich area - total value: around CHF 59 million. For the property in the city of Zurich, Fundamenta is planning a new replacement building and the realization of modern rental apartments in an attractive location in Zurich-Wipkingen (district 10).
In addition, the company was able to acquire existing properties in Dagmersellen (LU) as of December 1, 2015 and in a central location in the city of Bern as of January 1, 2016 with a total investment volume of CHF 14 million.
