MoneyPark expands into western Switzerland
The mortgage advisor MoneyPark is opening a branch in Lausanne and is thus present in French-speaking Switzerland for the first time. The expansion is a response to growing customer demand from French-speaking Switzerland and also takes into account the economic importance of the region, MoneyPark says.
The branch will be managed by Denis Lachavanne (43), who previously worked for several banks, brokers and insurance companies, most recently for Crédit Agricole in Yverdon.
The geographic focus of MoneyPark has so far been German-speaking Switzerland, where twelve of the total of 14 offices are located. In addition to the new location in Lausanne, the mortgage advisor is also represented in Minusio in Ticino. "The step into Western Switzerland is an important milestone in our company history," says Stefan Heitmann, CEO and founder of MoneyPark. This is a reaction to the strong increase in demand from the region: In the branches in Bern and Solothurn, in particular, French-speaking customers are increasingly being advised on financial matters, says Heitmann.
With over 70 partners (banks, insurance companies and pension funds), MoneyPark has what it claims is the largest mortgage network in Switzerland and has brokered real estate loans worth over one billion francs since 2013. The company is on a growth trajectory, with nine new branches opened in 2015 alone, and more openings planned for the current year. (ah)
