Implenia has been awarded the contract for lot "K203" by Statsbygg, the authority responsible for the development, construction and operation of the government's real estate portfolio. This involves complex concrete work on the basement shell of a new building in Oslo's government district. This is a repeat order: Implenia had already secured the contract for the earthworks in 2015, which are currently underway and scheduled for completion in spring 2016. Work will start at the beginning of August 2016 and is expected to last until the end of April 2018.

Near Kongsberg, new sections of the E134, an important link between Oslo and the west coast, are being built on behalf of the Norwegian Road Administration. Implenia's project includes the construction of a new four-lane road over a length of 4.8 kilometers, a two-lane tunnel around 1.5 kilometers long, and six tunnel portals. In addition, there are bridges as well as various retaining walls and noise protection structures. Completion is scheduled for September 2019. (ah)
