BNP Paribas REIM: New CIO for Europe
Nils Hübener is the new Chief Investment Officer Europe at BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (BNP Paribas REIM).
For the past ten years, Nils Hübener was Head of Real Estate Investments at SEB Investment GmbH, a German subsidiary of the leading Swedish bank SEB (now Savills Fund Management). He was also responsible for SEB Investment's European portfolio since 2013.
Prior to joining SEB Investment, he worked for Deutsche Bank Real Estate, where he was Vice President of International Acquisitions, mainly looking after the UK and US markets. He later became Head of Transactions for Western and Southern Europe.
Hübener started his career as Acquisition Manager for the Berlin-based real estate company IBI Real Estate. He then went to London and Paris for IBI, where he managed small branches of the company in each case. He studied urban and regional planning in Berlin and Oxford and holds a master's degree in European Property Development and Planning from University College London. (ah)
