Migros Aare: New Head of Development, Construction & Operations
Heinz Rüedi will join the Executive Board of the Migros Aare Cooperative in January 2017 and take over the Development, Construction & Operations (EBB) division.
Heinz Rüedi succeeds Markus Burren, who is retiring at the end of the year, as a new member of the Management Board at Migros Aare.
Most recently, Heinz Rüedi was Head of Expansion, Planning and Development within the Shopping Center & Real Estate Directorate of Migros Aare. He joined the company in 2009 as Expansion Project Manager, later heading up Lease and Real Estate Management.
Before joining Migros Aare, Rüedi was, among other things, a lecturer at the College of Engineering and Architecture in Berne and Head of Real Estate Services at Inselspital Berne. After completing his apprenticeship as a structural draftsman, Rüedi graduated as an architect FH and later continued his education on a part-time basis, including an Executive MBA in General Management at the Bern University of Applied Sciences.
