Roger Hennig becomes Investment Head at Schroders Germany

Roger Hennig additionally takes over the position of Head of Real Estate Investment at Schroder Real Estate in Germany. He will continue to head Schroders' Swiss business.

Roger Hennig, 48, will take over the position of Head of Real Estate Investment at Schroder Real Estate Germany and will thus be responsible for the areas of investment and asset management. Hennig's office will remain in Zurich, as he will continue to be responsible for the Swiss real estate business from there.

Hennig has grown Schroders' real estate assets in Switzerland to more than CHF 2.14 billion. He joined the company in 2008 and has 22 years of professional experience in the real estate sector. In addition, the real estate trustee is a Chartered Surveyor MRICS and head of the Real Estate Funds Expert Committee at the fund association SFAMA.

Hennig succeeds Sascha Harms

In the course of the personnel change, Nils Heetmeyer will be appointed authorized signatory for Schroder Real Estate KVG. Heetmeyer is to further expand the transaction business as Investment Director in Germany.

Sascha Harms, who was previously Head of Real Estate Investment Germany within the Management Board, is leaving the company at his own request at the end of the year. The management of Schroder Real Estate Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH remains in the hands of Philipp Ellebracht (Chairman) and Michael Abramo.

The Schroders team in Germany comprises 15 employees and manages open and closed-end real estate funds.
