Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting GmbH is expanding its product portfolio to include hotel consulting and marketing. The newly founded Engel & Völkers Hotel Consulting GmbH (EVHC) is to bundle the worldwide hotel activities of the broker network.

This is a reaction to the market development, which increasingly puts the consulting-intensive asset class hotel into the focus of national and international players, E&V informs. Andreas Ewald and Kai Wolfram are the managing partners of EVHC, which is a subsidiary of Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting GmbH.

Startup team includes seven consultants

Andreas Ewald brings with him to the start of EVHC a team of six consultants with many years of experience in the hotel industry and the hotel asset class. Ewald himself has more than 18 years of experience in international hotel and real estate consulting and most recently headed the hospitality division for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) at Ernst & Young Real Estate.

The new company is aimed at owners, investors and operators of hotels. It is divided into the areas of transaction and consulting, whereby the consulting area covers the topics of development, strategy and asset management. In addition to structuring the disposal process of hotel portfolios and operating companies, the transaction business also includes the individual marketing of (sub-)portfolios.
