Roger Baumann has been the second Managing Director of Credit Suisse Asset Management Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH in Frankfurt since April 1, 2017. He succeeds Frank Schäfer, who stepped down at the end of March.

Roger Baumann has been with Credit Suisse since July 2005 and has been Global COO & Head Sustainability in Real Estate Asset Management since January 2014. Baumann will continue to perform these tasks and will report directly to the Head Global Real Estate in this role, Credit Suisse announced.
In Roger Baumann, the company has found an "excellent internal solution, as he is already very familiar with many topics at Credit Suisse Asset Management Immobilien KAG and also has extensive experience in product development," the press release continues.
Baumann's Co-Managing Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management Immobilien KAG is Karl-Josef Schneiders. Schneiders has been Managing Director of CS AM Immobilien KAG since August 1, 2014 and is responsible for Investment Management, Real Estate Purchases and Sales, Asset Management and Development & Construction.
Baumann's predecessor Frank Schäfer has left the company, according to a report in the German industry magazine Real Estate Manager at his own request. Schäfer had been with Credit Suisse since 2009, including as Global Head of Product and Business Development.
