In Zug, Visionapartments is taking over a hotel in the city center. According to the company, the planned renovation work has already been approved and work is due to start this summer. Operations should then commence by the end of the year at the latest. When completed, the new location will comprise 54 fully equipped apartments for medium to long-term stays. To date, Visionapartments has not been present in Central Switzerland, but the company says it is on the lookout for further locations in the greater region.

Visionapartments also recently acquired a piece of land near Zurich Airport. A serviced apartment building with over 300 residential units is to be built there by 2019. There is currently a vacant 800 sqm factory building on the site, which is to be marketed for interim use, such as pop-ups, during the planning and development phase.

Visionapartments is planning four new openings in Switzerland and Germany for fall 2017: in addition to the project in Zug, locations in Vevey (100 residential units) and Lausanne St. Sulpice (60 units) will be launched in this country. The new location in Frankfurt am Main (130 units) is also set to open in September. An opening in Vienna (90 units) is planned for 2018 and in Basel (123 units) in 2019.
