According to CBRE, the real estate consulting firm has been assigned the valuation of the properties in the portfolio of the insurance company as well as the pension fund of Generali Switzerland. The real estate portfolio comprises more than 160 investment properties, primarily residential and commercial properties in good locations in German- and French-speaking Switzerland. In addition to the annual valuation of the existing portfolio, CBRE also carries out, among other things, the purchase valuations for Generali.

"We are delighted that we have now been able to extend our successful cooperation with CBRE at European level to Switzerland," says Christian Breutel, Head of Real Estate and Mortgages at Generali Switzerland.

CBRE currently employs around 90 people in Switzerland at its offices in Zurich, Geneva and Lausanne. The valuation team, led by FINMA-accredited valuation expert Sönke Thiedemann, says it annually values properties with a volume of more than CHF ten billion for funds, pension funds, banks and corporate clients, among others.
