SFPI considers 60 million capital increase

Swiss Finance & Property Investment (SFPI) is planning to further expand its real estate portfolio and intends to carry out a capital increase for this purpose.

The aim is to sustainably strengthen rental income and invest in the existing real estate portfolio. SFPI also plans to acquire residential and commercial properties in the Basel and Zurich regions.

The Board of Directors is therefore examining a capital increase from authorised capital in the order of CHF 60 million to finance the possible acquisitions and planned renovations of the portfolio properties, the statement continues. The listed real estate company intends to announce further details of the transaction in the near future.

SFPI's portfolio currently comprises 42 properties at a market value of CHF 498.5 million (as at 31 December 2016).
