W. Schmid takes over Glanzmann
W. Schmid & Glanzmann AG takes over the business activities of Glanzmann Generalunternehmung from Basel as part of a succession plan. W. Schmid & Glanzmann is a newly founded company of W. Schmid.
W. Schmid AG is an owner-managed company with around 120 employees and is active in the fields of real estate development, general contracting and construction. Until now, the focus has been on the greater Zurich area. With the takeover of Glanzmann Generalunternehmung, the company is now expanding its activities in the direction of Basel. For Marc Mettauer and Martin Krupp, owners of W. Schmid, this is a step back home, as they are both from Basel.
As W. Schmid and Glanzmann jointly announce, the current contracts of Glanzmann Generalunternehmung will still be completed under the management of Bernhard Glanzmann.
The other activities and companies of Thomas and Bernhard Glanzmann are not affected by the change in the general contractor.
