Walde & Partner: Markus Dörig joins the Board of Directors
Walde & Partner has appointed Zurich business lawyer Markus Dörig to the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman. He is to support the family business, in particular with the succession planning that is due to take place in the next few years.
Markus Dörig (57) holds a doctorate in law and is a partner at Badertscher Attorneys at Law. He holds various well-known board of directors mandates, among others with the credit insurer Euler Hermes and the recruitment agency Randstad (Switzerland).
At Walde & Partner Immobilien AG, which specializes in the marketing of residential and investment properties, Dörig will accompany the succession process and provide support in strategic and legal matters, the company writes in a statement.
In addition to Dörig, the board of directors of Walde & Partner also includes Marianne Walde, co-owner of Walde & Partner, and Andreas Widmer, CEO of Y&R Group Switzerland.
Walde & Partner Immobilien AG was founded in 1985. Around 50 employees work at its locations in Zollikon, Zurich, Uster, Thalwil, Lucerne and Baden. Since its foundation, the company says it has brokered more than 6,000 properties worth over ten billion CHF. 40 percent of sales are generated with existing properties, 30 percent with new construction projects and 30 percent with investment properties.
