BKW: Building Technology Segment strengthened in French-speaking Switzerland

Electricité G. Bugnard SA is active in consulting, planning, installation and maintenance of electrical systems, household appliances, telematics and photovoltaic systems, and complements the existing range of services offered by the BKW Group in western Switzerland. At the beginning of this year, Raboud Energie SA marked BKW's first step in the expansion of its building technology business in French-speaking Switzerland. The Bulle region is to become the center of activities there, BKW writes.

The latest addition would create valuable synergies between Raboud and Bugnard. These synergies will make it possible to offer customers more building technology solutions from a single source. Already today, Bugnard and ISP Elektro cooperate on a supra-regional level in the field of electrical installations. This network will be further expanded by Bugnard's entry into the BKW Group, it says.

Bugnard, based in Charmey (FR), was founded in 1995 by Gilbert Bugnard. Since 2011, the company has been managed by his daughter and sons, Florence Gachet, Bertrand Bugnard and David Bugnard. With the affiliation to BKW ISP, Bugnard and its 42 employees will remain as an independent company under the management of Bertrand Bugnard and David Bugnard, BKW said in its statement.
