UBS "Sima" receives European fund award
The UBS real estate fund "Sima" has been awarded the MSCI European Property Investment Award 2017.
MSCI, provider of portfolio and risk management tools for global investors, has released this year's winners of the 19th MSCI European Property Investment Awards. The annual award recognizes European property funds that have outperformed in their respective European countries over the past three years (through December 2016).
MSCI's standardized performance measurement process independently reviews the investment performance of pension and life insurance funds, pooled funds, real estate investment trusts, and other professionally managed real estate portfolios from more than 500 qualifying European portfolios.
The UBS fund "Sima" received the award in the category "Swiss Fund Award Balanced Fund", with the highest total return in relation to the All Property Benchmark, annualized over three years to December 2016. The other awards went to real estate funds in Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
The properties of this UBS real estate fund are managed by Livit AG under a full management mandate. The tasks include tenant support, vacancy management and property maintenance.
