The previous owners of Reso Partners AG - Roger Krieg, Christoph Heer, Ernst Roth and Reso Group AG - have sold their shares in Drees & Sommer Schweiz AG, thus merging with a leading real estate services provider. Drees & Sommer is an internationally active consulting firm for the construction and real estate sector with headquarters in Stuttgart (Germany).

Reso partners examined various options

Reso Partners AG, founded by Roger Krieg in 2005, is today one of the leading real estate consulting companies in Switzerland and has a nationwide presence in the German-speaking region with offices in Wallisellen, Lausanne, Stuttgart and Berlin. According to Roger Krieg, the existing Reso Partners examined various options in the course of succession planning and decided to merge with an organization with strong international roots: "We wanted to enable the greatest possible potential for the company's further development."

"With Reso Partners AG, we are further expanding our market position in Switzerland and also in Europe. We are strengthening ourselves with a renowned company that enjoys a very good reputation, offers a comprehensive service portfolio and maintains excellent customer relationships. The Lausanne site in particular opens up new opportunities for expansion in French-speaking Switzerland," said Steffen Szeidl, Member of the Executive Board of Drees & Sommer SE. In organizational terms, Reso Partners AG will be integrated into Drees & Sommer SE as a 100 percent subsidiary of Drees & Sommer Schweiz AG.

Further steps of the Reso Group

Roger Krieg will leave the company at the beginning of 2018. Offconsult, Office LAB and Reso Datamind will remain in Reso Group AG. In order to differentiate itself from its former sister company, Reso Datamind will change its name to Datamind Advisory AG, which will increasingly support service providers in digitalization and the use of IoT in FM as well as offer "smart FM" concepts. Office LAB will continue its expansion after the opening of the coworking space in Zurich's Baslerpark in the coming months with the opening of three more locations, says Krieg, who will continue to manage both companies.
