Mobimo restructures its management

Under the new organisational structure, Mobimo will combine all development activities, both for its own portfolio and for third parties, in the Development business unit. Marco Tondel (born 1974) will take over the management of this division on 1 January 2018, and will also join the Executive Board. The architect ETH has been working for the real estate company since 1 January 2012 and has so far been responsible for the Third Party Development division.

Vinzenz Manser (born 1967), an HTL architect and Head of the Project Management department since 2008, will also join the Management Board from January 2018. According to Mobimo, this move is intended to take account of "the important role played by the department in ensuring that construction projects are completed on time and within budget, as well as in quality assurance and the smooth handover to tenants and buyers". The Aarau Aeschbachquartier, the Mattenhof in Kriens and the Labitzke site in Zurich are three major projects currently under construction that originate from Mobimo's own development and therefore fall within the remit of the Project Management department.

Andreas Hämmerli will step down from the Executive Board at the beginning of 2018. He has headed the Development department since October 2008 and was responsible for project development and implementation as well as the sale of condominiums. He will work for Mobimo as a consultant on selected projects, the real estate company says.

As of 1 January 2018, the Executive Board of Mobimo Holding AG therefore consists of six people: Dr Christoph Caviezel (CEO), Thomas Stauber (Head of Real Estate, Deputy CEO), Manuel Itten (CFO), Marc Pointet (Head of Mobimo Suisse romande), Vinzenz Manser (Head of Project Management) and Marco Tondel (Head of Development).
