Swiss Life Investment Foundation launches new real estate investment group
The Swiss Life Investment Foundation is expanding its range of real estate products. In December, it is launching the new thematic investment group "Real Estate Switzerland - Old Age and Health".

The new investment group of the Swiss Life Investment Foundation will invest in properties throughout Switzerland in the areas of age-appropriate living, assisted living, care facilities, healthcare real estate and hospital-related properties. "The current demographic trend offers interesting investment opportunities with excellent growth prospects and attractive, stable returns," says Swiss Life.
The plan is to transfer properties from the existing "Real Estate Switzerland" investment group in the amount of around CHF 50 million. Existing investors can participate directly in the new investment group as part of a distribution of entitlements (spin-off).
On September 29, 2017, the Swiss Life Investment Foundation also launched the two new investment groups "Emerging Markets Corporate Bonds (CHF hedged)" and "Emerging Markets Corporate Bonds Short Term (CHF hedged)". These invest in a portfolio with over 200 individual positions in more than 30 emerging markets.
