The Avobis Group, which claims to be the largest independent Swiss mortgage and real estate service provider for qualified investors, is acquiring Hypothekenbörse AG, based in Uster. The company manages a mortgage volume of over three billion CHF.

Through the acquisition, the group expands its mortgage portfolio management services and will manage a mortgage volume of approximately 14 billion. Giampiero Brundia, Managing Director of Mortgage Exchange, will assume a leading role in the Avobis Group, the company says.

The mortgage exchange will remain at its location in Uster until the end of the year and will be gradually integrated into the Avobis structure in 2018, including its employees.

Avobis was formed at the beginning of 2016 from the merger of Hypotheken Servicing Schweiz AG and Rodrigo & Abegg Immobilien AG. Today, more than 60 employees work for the company at its locations in Zurich and Geneva.

Hypothekenbörse is considered the first bank-independent mortgage broker. The company is well anchored above all among non-profit housing developers, non-profit organizations, real estate investors and homeowners.
