Polytech Ventures Holding is a venture capital firm with two core activities: venture capital investments and venture capital advisory for companies. The company focuses mainly on investing in start-ups in the areas of Fintech, PropTech and Digital Health and supports companies in their digital transformation. "Polytech Ventures connects start-ups with leading Swiss companies in the financial and real estate sectors, as well as the capital market," Investis wrote in a media release.

The VC company originated at EPFL (Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where it is still represented today. The company also has offices in Geneva and Silicon Valley (California/USA). The investment in Polytech Ventures will enable Investis to accelerate its own digital transformation with the appropriate partners and start-ups, says CEO Stéphane Bonvin. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Since November 2016, FinTech Factory Sàrl, a subsidiary of Polytech Ventures, has been supporting the Investis Group's digitalisation strategy with its "Fusion" brand. "The digitalization of internal processes enables us to have shorter and more efficient workflows. In this way, employee capacities can be focused on activities in our core business and with higher added value. The digitization of customer interfaces will also be driven forward in order to realize an improved service offering," explains Bonvin.
