Zurich: ImmoYou opens office in Oerlikon
Crowdfunding company ImmoYou AG, a platform for investing in residential and commercial real estate, officially inaugurated its new office on the 10th floor at Thurgauerstrasse 32 in Zurich-Oerlikon on October 10.
Founded in February 2017 by Bettina C. Stach, the real estate financing company invests in Swiss properties with an investment volume of approximately CHF 3 to 30 million. Investors with a medium-term investment horizon (five to ten years) can invest from CHF 100,000 in a selected property and receive an entry as co-owner in the land register.
ImmoYou offers investors the prospect of annual returns on equity of at least five percent. When selecting properties, the Swiss crowdfunding platform tends to focus on older, renovated properties from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The aim is to be able to offer inexpensive apartments where new tenants can be found quickly, according to Stach's reasoning.
So far, an apartment building in Balsthal (SO) with nine apartments (built in 1954; total renovation 2016) and another property (built in 1960; total renovation 2014) with twelve residential units in Gelterkinden (BL) have been acquired. Stach plans to increase the investment volume to 60 million in the current year and to 100 million in the coming year. In addition to residential properties, commercial and industrial properties are also to be added to the portfolio in the future.
