Frédéric Naef succeeds Alain Peyrot, who has been the chairman of the board of directors of the real estate company in western Switzerland since 1994 and will be a member of the board of directors in the future. The new appointment is related to a generational change that has been prepared for several years in the Board of Directors, says CEO Etienne Nagy. "Frédéric Naef represents the fourth generation of the Naef family in the company founded by his great-grandfather in 1881," he adds.

Frédéric Naef has been a member of the company's Board of Directors since 2002, representing the family. Together with his family, he also runs the Château de Mont wine estate, which has been in the family for more than a century.

Pierre Poncet, the new BoD member, has also joined the Group as a shareholder. He was managing partner of the private bank Bordier from 1999 to 2012, and is currently limited partner of the bank. At the same time, Poncet is a member of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which he chaired from 2013 to April 2017.

With more than 300 employees at six locations, Naef Immobilier is considered one of the largest real estate companies in Western Switzerland.
