BKW acquires building services provider Enerpeak
The Bern-based BKW Group is further expanding its service business by acquiring the building technology company Enerpeak AG, based in Dübendorf.

This means that, in addition to the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitation, BKW is also increasingly represented in electrical planning. According to the company, its goal is to be able to offer comprehensive overall solutions in all areas of building technology planning. With the acquisition of Enerpeak, BKW is now tapping into a further business segment.
Enerpeak was founded in 1969 and specializes in the project planning of industrial, commercial, office and residential buildings as well as in the planning of overall energy and safety solutions. Also among the company's core competencies are studies and conceptual designs of photovoltaic systems.
Among the reference projects of the nationally and internationally active building services provider are construction projects such as the FIFA World of Football Museum in Zurich, the Coop production center LoBOS in Pratteln, and several Swiss multiplex cinemas.
Enerpeak, which is headquartered in Dübendorf and has branches in Baden, Hägendorf, Nyon and Visp, employs a total of 70 professionals. The company will continue to be managed by the executive board with the previous owner and main shareholder Andreas Krieg.
