Fundamenta: Capital increase brings in just under 66 million

Fundamenta Real Estate AG has completed its capital increase and raised approximately CHF 65.8 million through the issuance of over 4.7 million shares.

According to the company, the capital increase was "successfully implemented to the maximum extent" with the issue of 4,730,880 new shares at a subscription price of CHF 14.50 per share. The subscription of the new shares took place both in the context of a rights offering and through a partial firm underwriting. In the partial firm underwriting, existing shareholders, among others, subscribed to a significant number of new shares. In addition, the company succeeded in "expanding its shareholder base with renowned new investors.

The net proceeds from the capital increase are to be used for the acquisition of further real estate investments in accordance with the investment regulations, for targeted investments in connection with the development of portfolio properties, and for strengthening the balance sheet structure.

The issue was executed under the lead manager Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) and with Fundamenta Group (Schweiz) AG as selling agent. The first trading day of the new shares on the BX Berne eXchange is expected to be November 8, 2017.
