CS REF Green Property raises 130 million

The Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Green Property has completed its latest capital increase. The issue brings in new money of around CHF 130 million for the fund.

The issue was carried out on a commission basis ("best-effort basis") as part of a public rights offering in Switzerland. The official subscription rights trading took place on the SIX Swiss Exchange from October 30 to November 8, 2017. At a subscription ratio of 15:1 (15 subscription rights entitled to purchase one new unit), 1,132,587 new units will be issued at an issue price of CHF 115.00 net per unit. This corresponds to a subscription ratio of 100 percent. The CS Real Estate Fund Green Property thus receives new money in the amount of 130.2 million.

The new units will be paid on November 17, 2017. The number of units in circulation now amounts to 18,121,394 with net fund assets of 2.0376 billion. The proceeds of the issue will be used for the further expansion and diversification of the real estate portfolio. The real estate fund was launched in 2009 and is the largest Swiss real estate fund for sustainable real estate investments, according to CS.
