Losinger Marazzi and Basler Versicherungen have already implemented the smart home solutions in Zurich's Greencity district. Residents there can now control their energy consumption via the Allthings app, for example, or manage their apartment via smart-home functions. There are also digital property management functions; landlords and tenants can communicate via the app.

eSmart was founded in 2011 as a spin-off from the ETH Lausanne. The company has developed a smart home technology that does not require additional wiring and can be installed in existing buildings without great effort and at low cost. For this purpose, micromodules are mounted directly behind the switches, and they communicate via the existing power grid. According to the company, eSmart is now in 950 homes and is planned for another 1,400 homes, making it the best-selling solution in Switzerland.

With the real estate service app from Allthings, various communication, service and smarthome services can be combined in the form of micro-applications - depending on the type of real estate and requirements. Because of the modular structure, third-party services can also be integrated.
