Investis becomes majority shareholder in La Foncière de la Dixence
Investis is increasing its stake in La Foncière de la Dixence SA from 50% to 75%, making it the majority shareholder. The project company is responsible for planning and financing the "Dixence Resort" tourism project in Hérémence (VS).
The increase in the shareholding is the result of a capital increase within the project company in order to finance the next construction phase, the real estate company announced. As a result of the capital majority thus acquired, Investis will fully consolidate the "Dixence Resort" development project in Hérémence in future.
La Foncière de la Dixence SA was founded at the end of 2009 for the planning and financing of the "Dixence Resort", which is to be completed in stages by the end of 2026. The overall project covers an area of 25,088 square meters and includes a hotel with 60 rooms, a thermal spa area, five chalets and seven apartment buildings.
The Investis Group's portfolio consists almost exclusively of residential properties in the Lake Geneva region and was valued at just over CHF 1 billion as at June 30, 2017. The Real Estate Services division offers real estate services under local brands throughout Switzerland.
