Swisscanto Fund: Capital increase brings in a good 75 million
The Swisscanto (CH) Real Estate Fund Swiss Commercial has successfully completed its capital increase. Investors subscribed to new units with an equivalent value of over CHF 75 million.

The issue price at the capital increase of the real estate fund Swisscanto (CH) Real Estate Fund Swiss Commercial was CHF 105 (net) per unit. A total of 716,599 new units will be issued. The capital increase was carried out while safeguarding the subscription rights of the existing unit holders. The new unit certificates are fully entitled to distribution for the 2017 financial year.
As the fund management writes, the capital increase "created the basis for the further strategic growth of the fund". The fund has a secure investment pipeline with which the existing portfolio can be expanded in a targeted manner, it says. The capital increase was announced at the beginning of October.
The issue proceeds totaling 75.24 million will be used to finance existing obligations and to repay debt. This means that the capital will be used directly to generate income, writes Swisscanto. The payment date of the new fund units is December 4, 2017.
