SBB Real Estate: New Head of Finance

Franz Steiger has been the new Head of Finance and a member of the Executive Board of SBB Real Estate since December 1, 2017. The real estate company announced this on its website. Before joining Swiss Federal Railways, the 45-year-old was Head of Finance at Switzerland Global Enterprise (SGE) for some time, where he was most recently Head of Transformation and Digitalization. In this role, he was also Deputy CEO.

Steiger holds an Executive MBA from the University of Zurich and an Executive Master in Corporate Finance from the Institute of Financial Services in Zug. He is also a federally certified expert in accounting and controlling as well as a certified specialist in finance and accounting.
