UBS Asset Management: New Head of Real Estate Europe
Reto Ketterer is to become the new Head of Real Estate Europe (ex Switzerland) within UBS's Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) division. This has now been announced by UBS Asset Management.
Reto Ketterer will assume responsibility for the management and further development of the enlarged REPM platform from Zurich as of January 1, 2018. He will report directly to Thomas Wels, Head of Real Estate & Private Markets at UBS Asset Management.
Ketterer was Head of Business Management & Operations in the REPM division from 2007. He was responsible for the Fund Operations and Product Development & Management segment. Prior to that, he was Head of Europe (ex Switzerland) at the former UBS Asset Management Global Real Estate from 2003 to 2007.
Ketterer has more than 36 years of investment experience. He is a member of the REPM Management and European Investment Committee and Chairman of the REPM European Management Committee. He also sits on the Board of Directors of UBS Real Estate GmbH in Munich.
Patrick O'Sullivan will succeed Ketterer as Head of Business Management & Operations in REPM. He previously served as Managing Director in the Business Development team, where he was responsible for marketing the global activities and products of UBS Asset Management's Real Estate & Private Markets business.
