SF Retail Properties Fund expands portfolio

The SF Retail Properties Fund real estate fund has acquired two properties with a total value of CHF 67.2 million. Investments were made in Graubünden and the city of Basel.

The SF Retail Properties Fund, which specializes in retail properties, has acquired the "Ascherapark" at Dorfstrasse 171 in Schiers (GR) at the entrance to the Prättigau. The shopping center has an area of 4,328 sqm and offers everyday consumer goods. The anchor tenants are the Coop and Denner retail chains. The property also includes a petrol station with an integrated store. The property was notarized in December and will become the property of the SF Retail Properties Fund with retroactive effect from 1 December 2017.

The fund's second investment is the "Clara Huus" on Claraplatz in Kleinbasel. The property comprises lettable space of around 9,360 sqm and a public parking garage with 136 parking spaces. On the first floor of the mixed-use property there is a small shopping mall with shops for daily needs and specialty stores. The anchor tenants are Aldi Suisse, Müller Drogerie and Koch Optik. On the upper floors there is a fitness studio, a co-working platform and various office tenants. The property was purchased on December 22, 2017 and became the sole property of the SF Retail Properties Fund.

With the latest acquisitions, the SF Retail Properties Fund portfolio now comprises 78 properties with a total value of CHF 593.2 million two years after its launch. According to the fund management company, further acquisitions are planned over the coming months.
