Implenia builds in Dortmund and Hamburg

Implenia has won two building construction contracts in Germany. The company is building a new residential quarter in Dortmund and a customer service center for Liebherr-Nenzing in Hamburg.

According to Implenia, the volume of the two orders is in the high double-digit million range.

In Dortmund's Kreuzviertel district, the "Wohnquartier an der Berswordtstrasse" is being built on a gross floor area of around 48,000 square meters with 222 apartments, 365 micro-apartments, a commercial space and around 200 underground parking spaces. Shell construction will start in August 2018 and the construction period is estimated at 24 months.

Implenia is building a customer service center for Liebherr-Nenzing in the port of Hamburg for around 20 million euros (23 million CHF). The project comprises an administration building, a workshop and a warehouse. It is scheduled to be completed in 18 months and handed over to the customer in mid-2019.
