La Foncière: slight growth last year
The La Foncière real estate fund reports slight growth for the past financial year. The market value increased by CHF 46 million or 3.7 percent compared to the previous financial year and now stands at CHF 1.325 billion.
Less mortgage debt, which accounts for just under 19 percent of the market value of all properties, the fund's net assets amounted to CHF 936 million, around 3.5 percent more than in the 2016 financial year.
La Foncière has increased its dividend from CHF 20.80 to CHF 21.30 (+2.4%). The dividend yield on the share price at the end of the financial year was 1.94%. The performance for the financial year, i.e. the increase in the share price plus the dividend, amounted to 7.32 percent.
Fonciers SA has also announced its intention to carry out a 1:10 split of the fund units in February, with the aim of increasing the liquidity and attractiveness of La Foncière units. Investors are to be given easier access to the fund units.
