The SF Sustainable Property Fund's strategy of optimizing the sustainability of properties throughout their life cycle is becoming increasingly popular, according to the fund management company. A capital increase in the period from March to April 2018 is therefore being considered to finance further acquisitions.

The fund invests primarily in properties that can be brought into line with the fund's ecological, social and economic criteria within around seven years.

In July 2017, for example, the fund acquired a residential portfolio of 18 properties in Ticino at a purchase price of CHF 158 million. With this transaction, the funds from the capital increase in May 2017 were fully invested within just one month.
