Giuseppe Santagada is the new CEO of Vebego
The facility management company Vebego Switzerland has a new CEO in Dr. Guiseppe Santagada. He succeeds Ton Goedmakers, who is now Chairman of the company's Board of Directors and on the Executive Board of the Dutch Group Management.
Ton Goedemakers, the grandson of the company's founder, has served as CEO of Vebego Schweiz Holding since 2010. He was succeeded by Dr Giuseppe Santagada on 1 March. Santagada was responsible for Business Development & Commercial on the Executive Board of ISS Switzerland for the past seven years. Prior to that, he was CEO and member of the board of directors of the family-owned company JOMOS Brandschutz AG, among other positions.
Santagada is an industrial engineer and MBA HSG graduate. He holds a PhD in Management & Economics and completed further training in Leadership at Harvard Business School.
The aim is to further develop the segment specialization under the leadership of the new CEO, says Vebego. Significant new mandates have been won in the areas of facility management, Vebego Santé and airport services, the statement continues. Among other things, Vebego provides facility services for 21,000 aircraft per year at Zurich Airport and supports facility management at SBB railway stations.
