Helvetia launches Mortgages Switzerland investment group

The Mortgages Switzerland investment group will invest in mortgages secured exclusively by properties in Switzerland, Helvetia Investment Foundation says. "With a diversified portfolio of Swiss mortgages, we aim to generate a return after costs that exceeds that of the Swiss Bond Index," says product manager Marcel Hänni.

Helvetia Investment Foundation says it is the first investment foundation through which investors can hedge their interest rate risk in Swiss mortgages on a temporary or long-term basis. The investment foundation will use Helvetia's mortgage expertise and is working with MoneyPark and Finovo, it adds.
