IWG currently operates 28 locations in Switzerland, with twelve more to be added by the end of the year. IWG wants to expand in this country with the Regus and Spaces brands. The company says that it plans to expand its network of locations to 100 within the next four years.

"We see a strong increase in demand in Switzerland," says Garry Gürtler, Country Manager IWG Switzerland. SMEs could save around 30 percent in costs with shared offices, freelancers would find access to networks and communities, and large companies could increase their flexibility with the flexible solutions.

IWG is relying on CBRE Switzerland for its expansion. The service provider has already represented the company in the leasing of three new locations in recent weeks: Premium brand No18 will become the single tenant of a totally refurbished space of around 4,700 sqm at Bahnhofsplatz 1 opposite Zurich's main station at the end of 2019. In Etoy (VD), the IWG brand Regus will open the largest center in Switzerland with an area of 5,500 sqm in the iLife.City complex at the end of 2018. At The Hive 1 in Meyrin (GE), Regus will open a center with a co-working area on an area of 970 sqm from spring 2019.

IWG operates nearly 3,300 locations worldwide with more than 4.6 million sq. ft. of office space through its Regus, Spaces, No18, Basepoint, Open Office and Signature brands.
