Swiss Life AM is committed to sustainability
The asset manager Swiss Life Asset Managers is a new member of the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and has also signed the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) supported by the United Nations.

Swiss Life AM manages the investments of the Swiss Life Group and those of institutional clients. Swiss Life AM has always pursued a long-term and risk-based investment philosophy, which includes the comprehensive assessment of risks and returns. By signing the PRI and becoming a GRESB member, this approach is now being continued.
"Our ambition is to achieve solid, stable and sustainable investment returns. By signing the PRI and becoming a GRESB member, we are strengthening the sustainability aspects in our active risk management approach and in our investment decisions," says Stefan Mächler, Group CIO of Swiss Life.
The Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) assesses the performance of real estate funds in terms of environmental, social and corporate governance. The Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) are an international network of investors who have committed to jointly implementing six principles for responsible investment. The aim is to raise awareness of the impact of environmental, social and corporate governance issues and to support signatories in integrating these issues into their investment decisions and shareholder behavior, according to Swiss Life AM.
