CBRE's Capital Markets team advised Stenprop, a real estate company listed in London and Johannesburg, on the sale of seven commercial properties. The acquirer is Helvetica Property Investors.

The seven properties in the portfolio are located in German-speaking Switzerland, French-speaking Switzerland and Italian-speaking Switzerland, according to CBRE. Specifically, the properties in Vevey, Montreux, Sissach, Baar and Altendorf come between northern Arlesheim and southern Chiasso.

The transaction was complex not only in terms of size and geographic heterogeneity, but also in terms of structure, CBRE reports: Two properties were sold as part of a share deal, the remaining five changed hands via an asset deal.
